Inventory the devices
List the devices charged at the desk, how often they charge, their connector types, and whether their original power supplies are required. This prevents buying a hub with the wrong mix of ports.

Choose a safe location

Control cables without making them permanent
Use reusable ties, clips, or a routed tray so individual cables can be replaced. Label similar connectors and retain enough slack to connect a device without pulling the hub.
